My Story

I remember having the dream . . . and no idea where to start.

Before private aviation, I was an international purser at Delta. I had plenty of service experience. What I didn't have was a clear understanding of how to build a career in an industry where relationships matter so much.

Learning that changed how I approached my own career. It's also why I built Yours Inflight. I wanted to give people the guidance I wish I'd had when I was trying to figure this out.

I'm still actively flying. What I share comes from that work, the relationships I've built, and the questions students bring into our community. I genuinely love seeing this career start to feel exciting instead of intimidating.

Beginnings

Before I was helping others find their place in corporate aviation . . . I was finding mine.

Applying online isn't the whole plan.

If your entire strategy is applying to jobs you see posted online, you're only seeing a small part of what's available. Many private aviation roles are filled through relationships and referrals before a job is ever posted. The goal is to give operators and employers a chance to know you before they're looking.

WhatsApp support is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern. You have somewhere to bring a question instead of staying stuck until next week.

Give employers a reason to remember you.

Your résumé shouldn't sound like it could belong to anyone. I start by listening to your real experience, then build the skills and summary around what you've actually done.

Start with your experience.

I explore what you actually accomplished, how you handled challenges, and where you made a difference. Whether your background is in aviation or another field, I identify evidence of the judgment, discretion, adaptability, and service skills employers need.

Connect your skills to the aircraft.

I draw your skill sets from that experience so each one has substance behind it. Your training and qualifications help complete the picture of your preparedness.

Write your professional summary last.

Once your experience and strengths are clear, I craft an opening that gives employers a compelling, accurate introduction to you.

Put it through the name-swap test.

Could I replace your name and have this résumé reasonably belong to 50 other corporate flight attendants? If the answer is yes, it's unfinished. Your résumé should reveal your particular strengths and experience.

I refine the wording and presentation so what you bring is easy to find, then create an introductory letter that brings your story into a professional conversation.
